The basis of most massage, Swedish massage uses recognised techniques to manipulate the soft tissues of the body to therapeutic effect, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed or invigorated – the choice is yours.
Remedial massage is used to find a remedy for the discomfort you are feeling. You may have general aches and pains or maybe a specific injury or chronic condition. I will use targeted massage techniques to deal with the problem area. My aim is to leave you with increased range of movement and decrease in pain/discomfort.
Sports massage is ideal for the weekend athlete as well as the professional athlete but you don’t have to be an ‘athlete’ to benefit. Much the same thing as Remedial Massage it could be described as Remedial Massage for Sport. My aim is to get you back to your sport as quickly as possible and with regular treatment to prevent injury.
I’ve been making monthly visits to Jacquie for the last year and it really has been invaluable. Each time I go in Jacquie listens to what I have to say and gears her treatment to address my issues at the time.
